En Vivo - Sydney Latin Television (No longer on Air)

What's the newest entertainment and variety show on TV? If you said Rove live, that's been running for ages, but you would be close. It is in fact on your local Channel 31, it's all about the Latin community and club scene, it interviews people contributing to the community, it's all in English, MC Marsss hosts it. Give up? It's called En Vivo.

Produced by Roberto Clavero and hosted by MC Marsss, the program takes a different approach to the traditional entertainment show. Structured into different segments including interviews and reviews, its like watching Entertainment Tonight on a lower budget. We spoke to Marsss and Roberto on their vision for the new show, "Our aim was to reach a broader demographic which is the reason it's all in English, we realize that a lot of the people that go out to Latin clubs are not all Latin." Marsss told TLV.

For the first show, planning and working time was some several months. Of course, the next one will be produced quicker as it is a weekly show, but we can see these guys mean business and their production already oozes with quality. Marsss's antiques had the Latin Voice crew and friends rolling on the floor (in laughter of course), his presence and sense of humour are part of what make the show incontrovertibly unique, if you don't believe me just look at the pictures of Marsss clowning around (que loco). But we also have to acknowledge Roberto, producer and creator of En Vivo, who toils for hours cutting and editing film at the computer screen just for you, the viewer. There also wouldn't be a show to watch if it wasn't for the reporting skills of Vanessa, she has the talent and the screen presence, she reminds you of a Latin Sandra Sully. Her reporting style is straight to the point and decisive. No better team could be compiled to create such a show unless they were professionals, but besides that tiny factor, En Vivo is slowly climbing to be one of the best entertainment shows on Channel 31 and eventually, on Australian Television.

If you missed the first episode, it was jam packed with as much fun as you can have in half an hour, these guys love what they do and it shows in each program they pump out. Created with a vision, driven by inspiration and a great team of fun loving people, expect En Vivo to give you the very best in free to air TV entertainment, rocking your screen every Monday at 11pm and a repeat in case you miss Monday's show on Saturdays at 5:30pm.
