Lady
Latin Night 2003 was a fantastic night and definitely
one to remember. This exclusive annual event has
successfully been running for 9 years thanks to
the efforts of Latin entertainer Patricio Rodriguez
and the hard work from Cindy Fernandez.
   
What
sets Lady Latin Night apart from other beauty contests
of its kind, is its multicultural aspect; although
most of the girls are of Latino descendant, some
contestants come from other backgrounds making this
event unique and reinforcing the support and admiration
people from all over the world have for the Latin
culture.
The
event was divided in four segments and the crowd
was entertained by Mauritius Habiscus Dancers in
between.
The
night commenced with all contestants dancing a choreographed
Ricky Martin theme followed by the Traditional dance
along the Catwalk where each contestant danced to
a theme of their Country of origin or Country they
were representing. It was an amazing Cultural act,
the costumes were magnificently crafted and coordinated
according to the theme…Salsa, Punta, Cueca,
Tango and even Greek Belly Dancing! Just to name
a few. Next was the Bikini walk followed by the
formal Dress walk, the girls looked so beautiful
they had the crowds screaming for more.
As
the night progressed the Judges decision was obviously
very difficult as the effort each contestant put
in was hard to overlook but as the night ended the
inevitable had to happen and the winners were announced;
Michelle Roig, Patricia Diaz, Dimitria Salachoris,
Milica Pavlovic, Ariani Reyes & Marisol Salinas
were called to the front.
 
Congratulations
to all the girls for their dedication and fantastic
efforts which made Lady Latin Night once more a
great success.
